Cavallo, who recorded some guitar parts himself, compiled a list of top-class musicians. These included guitarist Tim Pierce (Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner), bassist Chris Chaney (Rob Zombie, Jane's Addiction, Slash), keyboards Jamie Muhoberac (Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Rolling Stones) and drummers Dorian Crozier ( Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus, Joe Cocker) and Matt Laug (Alanis Morissette, Alice Cooper). Things came together when Rob Cavallo produced Hart's previous album War In My Mind (2019) and she sang an improvised version of "Whole Lotta Love" in the control room during the session. The album is a perfectly compiled excerpt from the band's work. The 9 track album contains a mix of Zep essentials and fan favourites. Beth expresses a sensitive emotionality on the beautiful version of "Stairway To Heaven", enchanting the aching beauty of the timeless track with her own dramatic flair. "I wanted to create a connection to the feel of the original piece. It made me think of a woman who has lost her way and is in a terrible place with no love," Beth recalls.
"They had this huge, unlimited vocabulary," Hart enthuses. "As I began to delve deeper into Zeppelin, I realized what a great composer Page is and I had no idea how accomplished Plant is. It's important to remember that they were just kids back then, and Page has always been a genius, always finding new ways to create new sounds while producing in the studio. It's phenomenal. They are the Beethovens of modern times. you are insane; this is insane music.
