Description

Here we have a  Berliner Gramophone Disc recorded in Dec 1898 of Victor Herbert's The fortune teller : Czardas. Played by an unknown orchestra.


There was a later take in 1899 by the Metropolitan Orchestra of this same piece. So I am not sure how long this take was in print. 

The record is in very good condition for a Berliner. It does have a rougher start for about 10 seconds like so many of them do.

After that it is a very nice enjoyable performance.


This record will be well packed in a new box when sold.
