THE ROLLING STONES - EXILE ON MAIN STREET Double Vinyl LP EX+ COC69100
Up for grabs is a genuine, really nice early copy of the classic 1972 double album, Exile on Main Street by the Rolling Stones.
This is an early pressing. This is a heavy pressing, much heavier than the late 70s and 80s pressings of this album. The matrices are:
Side one: COC69100 A2 ROLLING STONES RECORDS
Side two: COC69100 B1 ROLLING STONES RECORDS
Side three: COC69100 C2 ROLLING STONES RECORDS
Side four: COC69100 D2 ROLLING STONES RECORDS
Classic album! The tracks:
Side One: ROCKS OFF; RIP THIS JOINT; HIP SHAKE; CASINO BOOGIE; TUMBLING DICE;
Side Two: SWEET VIRGINIA; TORN AND FRAYED; BLACK ANGEL; LOVING CUP;
Side Three: HAPPY; TURD ON THE RUN; VENTILATOR BLUES; JUST WANNA SEE HIS FACE; LET IT LOOSE;
Side Four: ALL DOWN THE LINE; STOP BREAKING DOWN; SHINE A LIGHT; SOUL SURVIVOR.
I have played the records today. All four sides are in visually EXCELLENT condition, a few light hairline, mostly from taking them out of the rather thick inner sleeves. The labels are all in EX+ condition.
I would rate the playgrade as EX condition, no skips, jumps or anything major. The sound is very powerful.
The 2 original inners are both in a strong EX condition, with no rips, tears or splits whatsoever.
The sad news is there is no cover with this LP or postcards, just the inners. It has been very carefully stored though in a smoke-free home, seldom played and has never left my room. I'm sure that this can go to another good home. If you have a worn out copy, or a copy that is good sleeve but poor vinyl, this would be perfect for you.
This record has been cherished, along with all my collection.
This will be shipped to the winning buyer in a protective 450G polythene outer sleeve and packed very carefully, and I will include protective paper inner sleeves for both records too.
Very genuine LP with very low starting price with no reserve as clearing out and need to sell.
