RCA RDC-4 45 RPM record. Beethoven "Appassionata" Piano Sonata, performed on a Bösendorfer piano, the same piano Beethoven used to play, by Japanese virtuoso Ikuyo Kamiya. Direct to Disc audiophile recording. Cut at 45 RPM for wider grooves, greater dynamic range and near absolute silent reproduction. Made in Japan on the very best virgin vinyl. Absolutely astounding sound quality (I have a couple of open copies of this very same record). Factory Sealed. Nearly impossible to find in this condition. Part of the seal, where the price tag used to be, was removed by the previous owner. There is a small cut out hole over the number 5 on the upper right hand corner. Please see photos. Limited Edition. Distributed by audio-technica of Japan. I bought it many years ago. I've kept all my records in specially designed and made LP plastic storage boxes, on an industrial shelf rack, in a spare bedroom for the last 30+ years.
Because this record is factory sealed in a bag, the record and jacket are assumed to be in mint condition. The sealed records I sell, from my own personal collection, are sold as audiophile collectibles. Their premium pricing is based on the fact that they are still sealed.
