Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Yellow Submarine" LP, a UK import, Apple PMC 7070, released in 1969. This is a much scarcer Mono pressing; Mono recordings were being phased out at the time of this release. It's a first pressing with the "Sold In The UK" text and red lines on the back cover. Side one matrix: XEX 715-1 with "GD" at the 3 o'clock position; side two matrix: XEX 716-1 with "L" at the 3 o'clock position. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+ (side two) to NM- (side 1) condition; each side has a couple to several, extremely light non-feelable marks. Cover is in VG condition with some general age wear, more noticeable on the back, some stains on the back and some creases on the front. Comes with it's original (as far as I know) black inner sleeve, in VG+ condition with a small partial spilt on one side. Overall a very nice copy of this iconic LP.
