Condition
Labels: NEAR MINT
A wonderful clean & bright set with just a single spindle mark to the side 1 label, but none on side 2.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are in immaculate condition with no surface marks, scuffs or scratches visible in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveal just a sparkling rainbow gloss and some insignificant sleeve removal marks, but no major signs of wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs or dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly barely, if ever played and all tracks play without any traces of groovewear distortion or any other type of playwear. Apart from a touch of light background at the beginning of 'Yesterday', there is little to fault on this extremely impressive copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
This superb example is extremely clean & flat with just an inevitable light label rim impression on the front panel and a small bend to the lower right corner. All corners and both opening edges are in perfect, undamaged and unworn condition. The rear panel is nice and clean with just a few faint age spots on the upper flipback, but no tears, writing or missing paper anywhere.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover. All text & images © Bright Field Music 2008
