***I've made some changes to this description, please see the note at the bottom.
A fantastic copy of one of the rarest Beatles records. This is a MONO second state copy of The Beatles' "Yesterday And Today". The cover is one of the cleanest you'll find. The "V" of Ringo's shirt is clearly visible in picture 2. There is minimal to moderate wear to both sides of the cover. The corners are clean and sharp. The paste-over is mounted straight with even margins. There is no writing on the cover except for a small price sticker on the back (see picture 10).
There is a piece of transparent tape along the right side of the bottom of the cover, see picture 6. The record itself is heavily used with moderate scratches on both sides. It still plays. The labels are clean.
***ALSO BEING LISTED TODAY IS THE STEREO EDITION OF THIS SECOND STATE RECORD, IN MUCH BETTER CONDITION THAN THIS. PLEASE CHECK MY STORE.
Free shipping to US bidders with full insurance and tracking. International bidders are welcomed, but shipping to Canada is $10 and Europe is $20. If you are a bidder in another International area, please inquire.
Questions welcomed.
*****This note added Tuesday 5/10 at noon Pacific time:
For some reason, the photos of this record disappeared from the listing. I've just uploaded 10 new photos. I revisited both this and the stereo copy that is also listed right now. While I still feel that this is a very clean sleeve, I strive to be 100% transparent and accurate with my listings. I've changed the "Excellent" in the listing title to "Very Nice". There is moderate wear to the sleeve in some areas that I hope are well illustrated by my photos. The area where you can see Ringo underneath the paste-over is very clean. In decent light, you can even see his smiling face. I want to be clear about the condition of the disc itself: It is heavily scratched. The scratches are not too deep, but they cover both sides of the record. In my opinion, this would be either a great copy for someone that does not yet own a copy, or a nice replacement sleeve for someone that has a nice record but poor sleeve. The stereo copy that is also listed right now is simply fantastic. I've never seen a better copy.
This is part of a collection that I just purchased. The collection is over 12,000 records from the 1950's through the 1970's. I have tons more Beatles, Elvis, Rolling Stones and many more that I will be auctioning in the coming weeks if not months. Please keep an eye on my store.
