1963 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This rare and NEAR MINT 1963 UK 1st mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK...' text but include 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The side 2 label carries the incorrect 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' spelling.
The publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Jobete Mus NCB'.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in the rarer, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed stereo cover.
The front panel shows the early, dark 'make-up' image, which was lightened on all later issues.
The rear panel carries the incorrect 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' spelling.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Both surfaces are in pristine 'Mint' as new condition when viewed in strong direct daylight with absolutely no marks or scratches to either side.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no other wear whatsoever.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This copy has recieved just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and the sound is clear, clean & undistorted throughout.
There are no traces of background noise, crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel on any track.
Both run-ins & all bands play silently without any ticks, clicks or other interference.
Hard to find another copy like this.

Cover: EXCELLENT
This rare example is in superb condition & retains a deep gloss, unscratched front laminate.
There is just a single bend to the upper left corner, a few light wrinkles to the lower edge & a single 'thumbnail' near the opening edge.
Both lower corners bear tiny bruises from shelfwear but the upper ones are clean & sharp.
Both front & rear opening edges are unworn with no tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is clean & bright white with no toning, marks or writing.
All delicate flipbacks are intact & the seams are unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is clean, straight and undamaged.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
