Description
It is with some reluctance that due to pending retirement I will over the next few months be selling my own Beatles collection gathered over a number of years. Most of the items are in Mint - condition but full descriptions will be provided in each listing. Whilst I sold many Beatles records some years ago for which much of my feedback was generated, these items represent the best conditioned items. All come with a full money back guarantee if you feel the item does not represent the description.
This listing is for an original 1968 MONO copy of the album The Beatles (White Album) by The Beatles on the Apple label catalogue number PMC 7067 & PMC 7068. Matrix numbers, side 1, XEX 709-1, side 2, XEX 710-1. Side 3, XEX 711-1, Side 4, XEX 712-1 Stampers side 1 @ 9 oclock 4, @ 3 oclock MR. Side 2, @ 7 oclock 5, @ 2 o clock AL. Side 3, @ 9 o clock 1, @ 3 o clock OL.
The vinyl retains an outstanding shine on all four sides. Side 1, has no scratches, no scuffs and no other surface marks, It shines like new and plays without fault. Side 2, has one small needle mark on the smooth run in groove and a pressing bloom from the factory. Neither detract from playing. It shines like new and plays without fault. Side 3 has a few light paper lines but no scratches, scuffs or other surface marks. Side 4 has a few light scuffs, one of which is approx. 6 inches long but it is light and does not detract from playing, the other is two very small and light scuffs on track 1, again not affecting play in any way.This is in really nice condition and plays exceptionally well. All four labels are completely undamaged and remain bright and clear.
Black inners are slightly creased but have no splits or other damage, outstanding.
The top opening outer gate fold sleeve is in beautiful condition having only a couple of light creases to the front top corner. The sleeve was originally numbered 0124310 but has been overstamped at the factory with the number 0124320. HOW RARE IS THAT ???? The sleeve is remarkably white both sides and the spine is thick and strong, not flattened from storage almost appearing as a wide spine.
The four photo's are in mint condition and come with the original white paper protector that is also in mint condition. The poster is in mint condition with no splits or other damage.
This item has been relisted due to me mixing it up with another of four copies I currently have. My apologies to those who had placed bids. I do have a near mint, wide spine copy that I will be listing shortly.
I have been very critical of this item as I will be on all others to ensure full customer satisfaction. I feel the buyer may not be so critical and will be delighted but if not you will find fully as described.
I will only send this item by Special Delivery (UK) or International Signed For with insurance for overseas. Postage will be at cost.
