"The Beatles" White Album -original 1968 UK 1st Press
*Original 1st pressing from 1968
* Stereo
* LPs are in excellent condition.
* "Sold in UK subject to..." on all LP labels (first pressing)
* Original 1968 outer sleeve (heavyweight, laminated, numbered, by Garrod and Lofthouse)
* Original black inner sleeves (matt, unlined, opening cut on 1 side only)
* Poster
* 4 Photos
All 4 sides have been played and carefully listened to all the way through. The sound reproduction is excellent throughout, flaw-free, no skips, no jumps, no clicks or other funny noises, just sounds great.
Outer Cover
As soon as you pick it up you can tell immediately, from the much higher weight and strength, that this is an original cover.
* VG++ condition, no tears, no damage, no delamination, all flapbacks firmly stuck down. Just a few creases and some mild scuffing on the entrance at the top where the records go in.
* Top-loading sleeve - 1st issue
* Numbered copy, 0401913
* Laminated cover by Garrod and Lofthouse
* "The Beatles" embossed on front cover
* "stereo" stamped on back at the topright (though mark now very faint)
Black Inner Covers
* 2 original matt black inner covers, with the hole stamped on just 1 side.
* VG++ condition.
* No holes, no tears, fully intact with only a few small creases.
* Rating reduced from EX only because one inner has a small seam split about 10mm long on the bottom, visible only if you open it up and gaze inside.
* The other inner cover is fully intact.

* Side 1 rated EX- , no significant markings, a few surface scuffs, sound quality excellent.
* Side 2 has a small superficial scratch across track 1 and is visually rated VG+. This mark however produces no tick or click or any other sound detectable on the sound track.
*Side 3 rated VG++ has 3 light surface marks which no effect on sound, fantastic sound quality throughout this side
* Side 4 rated VG++ has 4 light surface marks. These are not detectable on the sound track
* Labels on all 4 sides are excellent with no writing and just an occasional scuff mark visible in strong light. Individual ratings VG++, EX-, EX, EX-
