CONDITION

Both Discs

Labels: EXCELLENT +

All bear just a handful of light spindle trails on each label but no hole-wear, marks, writing or missing paper.

Visual: EXCELLENT

All surfaces retain their 'as new' deep gloss shines with no groove-whitening or dull/cloudy areas. Careful inspection in strong daylight shows just a few light surface hairlines but no significant or major marks at all. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some inevitable light hairlines but again, nothing serious. Both discs do unfortunately have a slight warp, but this did not affect tracking or sound on my system.

Audio: EXCELLENT +

Having sold many mono 'White Albums', I know that quality sounding copies are extremely hard to find. However, this copy does not disappoint and has received only a few careful plays on good quality equipment. Consequently there is no trace of any groove/play wear on any track or is there any crackle in the usual areas. In fact apart from 4 soft 'pops on the fade of 'Glass Onion' and a touch surface noise from the vinyl between tracks, there is very little to fault audibly.

Cover

EXCELLENT

An extremely respectable example of this easily damaged and spoiled cover which retains an excellent 'whiteness'. The front panel is extremely clean & glossy with no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing or significant signs of wear. The laminate over the raised wording is totally intact & completely unsplit and the number bold & clear. All corners are clean, square and unbumped and apart from a tiny 2mm 'nick' to the front top-opening edge, all are all clean & undamaged. The rear panel is as fine as the front and the inside of the gatefold appears 'as new'. The spine has a full unsplit laminate and is perfectly worded throughout. All seams are strong, unstressed & unsplit.

Photos: MINT

Spacer: EXCELLENT

A few light handling wrinkles but no tears or missing sections.

Poster: EXCELLENT

A few light handling wrinkles but unmarked & unhung with no tears or splits to any fold.

Inner-sleeves: VERY GOOD +

Both are clean & flat with just a few small tears to the top edges but none to the centre holes or side seams.
