In LOVELY condition throughout, issued in 1968, this is a Genuine opportunity to purchase a **100% COMPLETE** and **ORIGINAL** UK MONO **1st Issue** of THE BEATLES massive and sought after WHITE Album. The TWO Vinyl LP Set comes in its original Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse TOP LOADING, NUMBERED Gatefold sleeve, 2 Matt BLACK inner Bags, a POSTER and FOUR PRINTS – one of each of The Beatles - **plus ** its SCARCE Photo Spacer . The sleeve is numbered **0073233**, which is considered to be a moderately low number.

A Description of this album package is as follows: The Two Original 1st Issue Vinyl LPs are on the traditional Dark Green APPLE label, with ‘Sold in UK’ label text and ‘Apple Records’ label rim text. The 2 Vinyl LPs come in their correct and original matt Black Inner Bags and are housed in an Original TOP OPENING Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse GATEFOLD sleeve which enjoys the moderately low number of **0073233**. This number is printed on the front of the sleeve. Also included in this **COMPLETE** package is an original Lyric Poster and 4 original thick card Colour Prints – one of Each of The Beatles, together with its Protective Photo Spacer.

The Matrixes and stamper information: The stamped matrixes in the trail out grooves are Side 1: XEX 709-1, Side 2: XEX 710-1, Side 3: XEX 711-1, and Side 4: XEX 712-1. The stampers are: Side 1:’4’, ‘GAL’, Side 2, ‘3‘‘LT’, Side 3: ‘2’, ‘TH’, and Side 4: ‘6’, ‘GGG’ – some scans follow of all four record labels…...

The grading of the Record Labels and Vinyl Disc: All four record labels are graded in very CLEAN, UNWORN and BRIGHT excellent plus to near mint condition, showing only some LIGHT spider marks, but certainly no spindle wear, hand writing, or major faults to report. Record 1 (Side 1and 2) are graded in GLEAMING excellent plus condition – LOVELY High Gloss Shiny Vinyl, showing only the lightest of wispy hairlines. Record 2 (Side 3) is graded in SUPER excellent plus condition, again very shiny and Bright Vinyl, with only lightest signs of play. Record 2 (Side 4) is graded in very nice excellent condition – showing just a few more light wispy hairlines than side 3 – but again nothing that detracts from the overall IMPRESSIVE condition of the Vinyl Disc.

An Assessment of The Playing Quality All four sides play very **IMPRESSIVELY**. There is NO hiss, NO skips, and NO Distortion – A SENSATIONAL Smooth Play. Please note that on Record 2 (side 3), Track 1 ‘Yer Blues’ towards the end of this track, there are a couple of light clicks leading into track 2 ‘Mother Nature’s Son’ – but that’s it!

The Grading of The Top Opening, Numbered, Gatefold Sleeve, The Black Inners, the Poster and 4 Prints: The Top Opening and numbered laminated Gatefold sleeve is carefully graded in excellent towards excellent plus condition – the sleeve is STRONG and FIRM, and still remarkably BRIGHT and CLEAN, showing just a little and mild age discolouration, which can only be expected, and light record storage wear. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ and the number of 0073233 are very clearly printed and show no deterioration. All the edges and corners of the sleeve are in great shape, with just a couple of light bumps to a couple of front corners, but this is minimal. The spine and spine laminate are also in Remarkable condition – normally the laminate on the spine becomes easily cracked, however, this one does not display cracking or lifting to the laminate! All the wording on the spine is clearly readable. The inside of the gatefold sleeve is in SUPER shape and the inside flip backs are also in Impressive condition. The 4 colour photos – one of each of The Beatles - and the protective photo spacer are in FABULOUS near mint condition – no tears or handwriting, the black inner bags are in clean and respectable excellent condition and the Lyric poster is in excellent shape, with no tearing or handwriting.

In our Professional opinion this is a LOVELY all round example of this HISTORIC and MASSIVELY Sought After Beatles ORIGINAL UK 1st Issue – with the added rarity that it enjoys a moderately low number, and most importantly it is 100% **COMPLETE** and ORIGINAL!
