THE BEATLES - 'WE CAN WORK IT OUT'/'DAY TRIPPER
UK 1966 PRESSING 45
This extremely respectable copy is a UK pressing dating from early 1966 and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5389
Both carry the 'Sold in UK.. text and have upper case 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code visible in the centre of the 'Day Tripper' label & both run-outs.
Housed in an original green & white Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18341-4 & 7XCE 18342-1
Stamper codes: 4/RPM & 8/RMP
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
Apart from a few faint age-related blemishes on the 'We Can Work It Out' label, both are perfect with no marks or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are in clean & bright with the 'We Can Work It Out' side appearing 'as new' in strong daylight. The 'Day Tripper' surface has a few light marks consistent with sleeve removal, but nothing deep or serious.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has recieved a minimal amount of play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality on either side. My careful play-check picked up a hint of peak wear on 'Day Tripper' but none of this on 'We Can Work It Out.

General storage/age wear but no major faults.
