THE BEATLES - 'WE CAN WORK IT OUT'/'DAY TRIPPER'
1965 UK 1st PRESSING 45
This pristine 1965 UK pressing is on the familiar black & silver Parlophone label: R 5389
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Day Tripper' label.
Housed in its original 'Miner's Make-up' green & white Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18341-4 & 7XCE 18342-1.
Stamper codes: 2/ROR & 3/RAT

Both labels are immaculate with no spindle marks or wear to either.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are clean & bright with no surface marks or scratches visible in strong daylight and appear at first glance to be 'as new'. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a small clouded area from storage on the 'Day Tripper' surface, but this does not affect the sound. There are no further significant marks or blemishes.
Play: NEAR MINT
This barely - if ever - played copy sounds 'as new' both sides with completely unworn groove which retain the same power and clarity as they day they were pressed.

EXCELLENT
Super clean with just a little unavoidable storagewear but no writing, tears or splits.
