Description
The Classic 2 Lp Set in Rare &Terrific condition "The Beatle" aka "The White Album" on Apple SWBO-101 the orig. 1968 stereo release. The White Gatefold cover, which as you know, is HTF in even decent shape, is in Excellent VG++ condition & maybe a bit better. It comes totally Clean and White with the raised-relief title and the quite Low # 0066828 on the front of the jacket. Out of the 3 Million+ U.S. copies issued, you would have 66,828th pressing. There are NO seam or spine splits, ringwear, writing or tears. It's sins include small spine side corner pushes, and tiny bumps and wrinkles. Also, a 1" long bubble is present at the top right corner edge. The Full Gloss Vinyl comes in overall Near Mint- shape with only a short hairline here and there. Very Minor. The Apple labels w/Capitol logos are excellent and have the recently identified & value added early song title "misprints" of the short "Bungalow Bill" The Un-Hyphenated "Obladi Oblada" misspelled "Rocky Racoon" & "Revolution 9". The Large Poster, 4-8x10 Pix are included and Near Mint. Also, is the rarely included picture protector sheet(gray/blue) that no doubt followed the shrinkwrap to the trash. Overall, this is collectable on many levels: A still Very Clean and White cover with only minor flaws--A very Low number.Beautiful gleaming Vinyl--Early & Rare label variations--Excellent inserts and the protector sheet. All at a Low NR opening bid!
