Yes, it is the very first press of the UK Rubber Soul LP. And yes, it is not a fairy tale: This LOUD CUT VERSIONS plays louder than the others, warm and full sound, YOU CAN HEAR IT!!!

The frontover is in EX condition. Only light marks of aging and using (please see pictures) but NO writings or tears.  No major faults. A few light laminate creases. The back is a bit grubby, but without writings or tears. 1st press cover. VG.

RARE Ernest J. Day cover

The labels are free from any unwanted writings.  But side one has a small damage from a removed sticker. With KT tax code  and Sold in UK to resale.... on label. Yellow&Black Parlophone.

The record is graded as  NEAR MINT with only a few light surfcace marks, but nothing serious. Looks great.

Heavy and shiny vinyl !
