THE BEATLES - 'STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER'/'PENNY LANE
This EXCELLENT UK 1st pressing dates from its initial February 1967 release and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5570
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have upper case 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Penny Lane' label and in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2
Stamper codes: 1/RD & 4/AT
The disc is housed within its original, limited edition thin paper colour picture sleeve.

A super clean & unworn set with a handful of light spindle trails around the 'Strawberry Fields..' centre hole but just a single one on the 'Penny Lane' label.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong, bearing only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This superb sounding copy has clearly been barely played copy and as a result the sound is clean, warm & unworn throughout. Even the delicate 'Strawberry Fields Forever' introduction is free from any crackle or interference.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An overall clean & flat example with minor age toning and a few gentle storage wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
