The Beatles “Strawberry Field Forever”/“Penny Lane” 1st UK Press 45 RPM 7” Single, Feb 1967.
Description:
This beautiful UK 1st pressing dates from its initial February 1967 release on Parlophone: R 5570. The 'push-out' centre denotes an early pressing as from November 1966 EMI produced mainly solid centred discs of this title. The disc is housed within its original full colour, thin paper picture sleeve which were supplied with only the first 250,000 copies.

- Labels: Push-out, with “Sold In The UK…” text in the centre.
- Sleeve: First pressing ‘wave’ colour picture sleeve.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT PLUS!
Under direct halogen spotlight the single exhibits a glossy and clean surface with only very light signs of sleeve removal. A superb example.
