CONDITION
Disc
Labels: VERY GOOD -
Both are clean & bright but have numerous spindle marks around both centre holes with a few scratches around side 1. There is also some touch-up around the holes but no major faults to either.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Clean & bright playing surfaces which in strong daylight display a handful of light surface marks and the occasional light scratch consistent with normal handling & play, but nothing deep or heavy. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine and some wispy paper hairlines from inner-sleeve removal but no major blemishes. Both sides lie 100% flat when playing.
Play: VERY GOOD
This copy has been played many times but is without any major deterioration to the sound quality overall. Some background wear is audible on the opening track and there is slight playwear on 'She's Leaving Home' which results on some minor distortion. However, apart from that there is little else to fault audibly.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A bright & clean example of this iconic cover which bears moderate handling and storagewear but no major faults. The front panel is bright with slight loss of shine from storage and has a few 'thumbnail' creases towards the front opening edge, but no other significant wear. There is some wear to the upper two corners especially and some wear to the rear opening edge. The inside of the gatefold is extremely bright and unworn with no wear or missing paper to flipbacks edge. There is a 1cm stress to one of the lower seams but all others are smooth and unworn. The rear edge of the spine shows some wear but is is overall clean & un-crushed along its length and all the wording is covered and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Some general light storagewear wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
Cut-out Sheet
EXCELLENT +
