CONDITION

Disc

Labels: VERY GOOD +

Clean & bright overall with numerous light spindle marks but no major blemishes or wear.

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Both playing surfaces of this respectable copy are bright & clean with the only significant marks in strong daylight being two light fingernail scuffs on side 1. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals a single sparkling rainbow shine together wirh some insignificant wispy paper-type hairlines, but no further marks or wear.

Play: VERY GOOD

This copy has been played many times but there is no major deterioration to the sound quality throughout. My careful play check at volume detected some slight intermittent background in some of the quieter passages but no significant groove/play wear or any heavy clicks, pops or other such audible distraction.

Cover

EXCELLENT

This rare example is in superb overall shape. The front panel is perfectly clean with an unscratched high-gloss laminate with just a single, very faint small 'thumbnail' near the opening edge but no other creasing or wear. All corners are free from any heavy bumps with just slight bruising to the right two. There is a little wear to the inside edge of the front leaf but none elsewhere. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and has clearly been barely, if ever opened. The 'Fourth Proof' wording and code are bold, unworn & undamaged. The rear panel is as vivid & vibrant as the front with again just a single faint 'thumbnail' and an unavoidable faint disc impression from storage. The spine is clean but has some wear through the words ' ..'Lonely Hearts..' but is otherwise undamaged. All seams are unstressed & unsplit with just a few specks of missing laminate to the upper edge. Hard to find in any condition.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

A superb clean & crisp example with just a hint of age-toning but no writing, splits or tears. Minor handling/storagewear but clean & white with no splits, tears or writing.

Cut-out Sheet

MINT

Never removed from cover - the previous owner didn't even realise it was there!
