GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, ACCOMPANIED WITH SOLID PROVENANCE, PLUS CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY, ONE OF ONLY 250 ISSUED, THIS POSTER WAS **UNCIRCULATED** AND ONLY DISCOVERED FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF A RETIRED UK EMI EXECUTIVE
In BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED **mint** condition, and accompanied with PROVENANCE to die for, this SUPER RARE and ORIGINAL UK Parlophone Colour Promotional Poster was issued by Parlophone in 1963 to promote THE BEATLES on Parlophone Records!
To give you some background and acting as **SOLID PROVENANCE**, this VINTAGE Poster was purchased DIRECT by us from a well respected and long established Antiques Dealer who was commissioned to clear the Estate of a Deceased EMI Executive. To his great surprise, in one of the cupboards, the Antiques Dealer found, amongst other items, an **UNOPENED** Flat pack of 250 of these **UNCIRCULATED** Beatles 1963 UK PROMOTIONAL Posters.
It is understood that EMI issued only ever issued this one pack of 250 Promotional Posters in 1963 for circulation to Record Stores and relevant media organisations to advertise The Beatles on Parlophone Records. However, for reasons only known to the deceased EMI Executive (!), the Posters were never circulated!
One was subsequently placed in a London Auction – Christies, in 2002, who confirmed that this was the **FIRST TIME** they had ever seen this Poster, further confirming that it had never been circulated back in 1963! As a result it sold at Christies London for in excess of UK Pounds 2,200!
To accompany this HISTORIC purchase, we will be providing a Letter of Authenticity, supplied on our company letterhead, confirming the background and PROVENANCE behind the poster, together with a copy of the relevant Christies Auction Catalogue Page confirming the date of the auction, the relevant Lot number, and hammer price.
This IMPORTANT Beatles Promotional poster measures 15" x 12" and is in BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED **mint** condition. There is NO creasing, NO Pin Holes, NO tearing, NO folding, NO hand writing, NO damage to any part - the colours are Perfectly PRESERVED and in day of release condition, with no fading - Just fantastic and would look AMAZING framed!
