Rubber Soul

UK 2nd Press

!Near Mint!

This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!

Catalogue number: PMC 1267

Matrix Numbers Side 1: XEX 579-4

Matrix Numbers Side 2: XEX 580-4

Mothers/Stampers Side 1: GOA @ 3 O'clock 48 @ 9 O'clock

Mothers/Stampers Side 2: GTT @ 3 O'clock 43 @ 9 O'clock

Vinyl: Near Mint. Lovely shine and weight. Just had to play this gorgeous, shiny, flat vinyl...AND WHAT A JOY!!! Just dust....I was really tempted to keep this one for my personal collection....Only the faintest of whispy marks-barely visible!

THIS BEAUTY HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!

Labels: Near Mint. There are just a tiny handful of incredibly light spindle marks, only visable when angled to the light. Raised "KT" tax code to side 2. No writing anywhere. "The Gramophone Co..." rim text as well as "Sold In U.K." text.

Collectors piece!

Cover: EX+. Shiny front cover...NEXT TO NO SPIDERING!! VERY Strong spine. Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Only a tiny 5mm nick to the opening! The only downside to the lovely bright back is the writing of a name to the top right-otherwise it's very close to Near Mint too!! VERY little fading. Would be nice to display.

Inner: ORIGINAL "Use Emitex" inner...in simply superb condition, with no rips/tears/writing and hardly even any fading too!!!

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A TRUE UPGRADE....A REAL COLLECTORS PIECE....LOW START!

A note on grading:

'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened nor played the record and kept it in fantasticaly dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it?!
