Description
This is a 1966 third pressing of ‘Rubber Soul’ in mono. I’m sure you will know this pressing is perhaps the best audio quality of the 1960’s mono cuts, made by EMI’s classical music cutting engineer, Hazel Yarwood. The cover is printed by Garrod and Lofthouse.
Everything is in at least very good condition. The cover shows some aging and handling marks but is intact without any writing or sticker residue etc. The spine is clean and the title text is clear. The original plain EMI paper sleeve is also intact with no splits and has some foxing on the printed side. The record has been played and stored carefully over the years showing some spindle marks on the labels which are otherwise clean and fully legible. The vinyl is clean and glossy with just a few hairlines. I have not play tested the record.
I will package the record in a separate sleeve outside the cover and paper sleeve.
