CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean and bright set with just a small collection of faint spindle marks around each centre hole, but no other traces of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean and deep-gloss surfaces which have been taken care of and are undulled by improper storage or overplay. Careful inspection in strong daylight shows up literally just one or two very light surface lines but nothing I would call a scratch. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals a healthy rainbow gloss together with a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no further signs of wear either side.
Play: NEAR MINT
Being one of the first few hundred copies off the press, the sound quality does not disappoint. All tracks play with a prescence, warmth and clarity missing from any other pressing or mix. This 1st class copy has received just some careful play on high-end equipment and as a result all tracks play 'as new' with no hint of any groove/play wear to either channel or any backgournd noise on or between any song.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A superb example with a rich and undamaged high-gloss front panel laminate which displays no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing whatsoever. All corners are unbumped and still square with just a tiny rubs to their extremeties. However, both opening edges appear untouched and the exposed rear panel is perfectly clean, white and totally unmarked. All flipbacks are in place with just a small crease to the lower one in the lower right corner. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean, fully worded and undamaged..
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with slight age-toning but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
