NOTES
  Sometimes Beatles is a strange science: This German third press from 1966 is far more rare and valuable than the  first press of Rubber Soul. Printed in very low numbers only, with the catalog number shifted to 7nnnn already (from 8nnnnn), you'll hardly find a copy of this release on  eBay or somewhere else. Up for auciton here one of the few copies that still hold an SMO catalog number, but printed already on the  (at the time being) new German BLUE ODEON!!, a label that was actually used from 1968 on only.

This pressing was basically "designed" for domestic sale only, which is why the SMO catalog number  has not been complemented with the export catalog ID prefix ZTOX.
Worth to mention: For some "strange" reason, many sources refer to the German Rubber Soul third press as the second one. But that  is a strong mistake. Probably made cos both first and second press come with the old catalog number "84 066". However, only the first press has "ALLE RECHTE..." in the perimeter rim text, while the second (still published as "84 066") shows  "URHEBERRECHTE..." and is hence printed on a later label.  

Indicators for this ultra rare third press:

• Label Error Side B at title #3, I'm Looking Throug You, hence no final h
• -2/-1 crossover matrix
• "Urheberechte..." (not "Alle Rechte") wording on perimeter rim text
• plain bolstered White inner sleeve, not a b/w pictured Odeon one

This pearl is a must-have for every serious collector, highly sought after and hard to grab. Try to  find a "SMO" on "Blue Odeon" - and you'll know what we mean.

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a  Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after, which are part of this auction.
Spine is perfectly readable and in perfect condition. Laminated front is completely glossy, in a rock-solid condition. Scuffed edges. Vinyl is shiny, Side B slightly better than B-Side. Hairlines. Labels are clean. No writings, or scratches.   Spindle hole wear. B-Label has some stains/spots.

NOT audio graded. We grade most, but not all of our records audible.

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only. Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.

• Grading  Every record has been carefully graded visually by ourselves. Most records are audio-graded, too. We grade NM/NM-, EX+/EX/EX-, VG+/VG/VG-.
• Shipping & Handling  is FREE, provided you live on planet earth.  To us, it doesn't matter where records find a new home, Paris, Tokyo, NYC, Melbourne.
• Dispatch Time  We usually prepare shipping immediately upon cleared payment. As a cushion space, however, shipping is guaranteed within 2 business days.
• Shipping Time  ...is something that we do not have any influence on, please keep that in mind when applying feedback. As a rule of thumb, times from registering with the  carrier until delivery at buyer's home may be as follows: Asia 7 thru 10 days. U.K. one week. U.S. 7 thru 10 days.  South America 10 thru 14 days. Europe 4 thru 7 days. Germany 24 thru 48 hours. However, please keep in mind that  these times are estimates only and may vary among different carriers.
• Payment  is expected within 48 hours after an auction's end, unless arranged differently prior to bidding. We accept PayPal or IBAN (SEPA) bank transfer only.

A Note On Returns / Return Policy

We are two (crazy?) regular average women (Ginger & Fleur Isabell) who love Beatles, thus collecting their records, we're no dealers.  We buy vinyl to acquire better copies of what we have already, then selling our second, third, fourth copies. We are classic collectors and hence describe and grade what we sell to our best knowledge, possessing a very high, sophisticated level of knowledge, in particular regarding European records.  

If -for whatever reason- our description doesn't turn out to be appropriate, like, for instance, a song skips or jumps, vinyl isn't flat as assured  -these types of "error"-, we certainly accept a return (at buyer's expense), for a collector's satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. That certainly happened  already. We know that nobody buys a record from us "just for fun". However, as a very basic rule, all of our sales are personal und final.

ALL WE TRY TO AVOID IS TO SEND RARE, VALUABLE VINYL AROUND THE GLOBE "IN VAIN", JUST TO SATISFY A PERSON'S CURIOSITY, FOR EVERY "ROUND-TRIP" IS A HUGE RISK EXPOSING THE RECORD.
