Early 1966 Mono pressing in first issue Flipback sleeve.
Dr. Robert on both sleeve and labels (later pressings corrected the abbreviation and changed title to ‘Doctor Robert’)
K T tax code embossed either side of the spindle aperture on Side 2
This is a very rare pressing with Sans Serif font on Side 1 and Times New Roman font on Side 2. This copy has the earlier matrix ending codes of -2 and -2. Seems to be a very rare record.
Vinyl is in near to Excellent and retains a lovely sheen. There is a really pleasing heft to these 60’s vinyls - a thick, glossy, well looked after record. Plays well with only very little background interference here and there but nothing overpowering - the music is very much at the forefront throughout.
Emitex inner a bit worn but included. Vinyl now housed in brand new poly lined inner.
The sleeve is a sound VG+ sleeve. Some handling and storage wear and a little discolouration here and there over the decades but vibrant with no writing or major knocks or tears. A very nice 54 year old VG+ sleeve!
Overall a really fantastic copy with some very rare and interesting attributes.
