Description
This is a very rare original 3 & 3/4 ips twin track mono reel-to-reel tape from 1968 DTA-PMC 7067/8, The Beatles Double Album (a.k.a. The White Album). I have checked it on a reel-to-reel player and it plays as new - no deterioration or faults on either side. There are no snaps or repairs on the tape which is on the original 5 inch EMITAPE. The reel is in excellent condition, so well looked after it still has the original EMITAPE sticker on the centre of both sides. It's in the original plastic box which is in excellent condition with only very minor scuff marks which can be seen on the photo. There are no splits, cracks or major scratches. The original leader tape at both ends is intact. There is a curious misprint in the track listings which I’ve never seen before.. song twelve on side one is printed as ‘Piggiest’, whereas the song is actually called ‘Piggies’. The opening price for this tape is a BARGAIN if it stays at that (check out http://www.leninimports.com/beatles_reel.html#bssingles ), but be aware that the last one of these I sold (without the misprint) went for £203.
