RARE  1964 The Beatles " The Original Greatest Hits" High Fidelity Capitol Records

This record contains the mix of Love Me Do with Ringo on the drums.  In 1964 this version was found only on British (UK) singles.  This is the beatles first record of  questionable legality.

This album hit the market place as a Beatles sound alike group because of the Beatle style wigs on the album cover.  But it contained real Beatles recordings all dubbed from records.  And it contained "Love Me Do" dubbed from a Canadian 45 as the first song on side 2.Capitol records stopped distributing this album soon after it hit the stores.  

This item has been in our family since 1964 and is in very good condition considering age and especially considering the rarity of this album.
