IN 1969 PARLOPHONE INTRODUCED A NEW LABEL DESIGN. THE NEW DESIGN HAD BOTH THE "EMI" AND "PARLOPHONE" LOGOS PRINTED IN SILVER ON A BLACK LABEL. AT THIS TIME CURRENT BEATLES RELEASES WERE ON "APPLE" BUT THE OLDER PARLOPHONE LPS WERE NOW RELEASED USING THE NEW LABEL. THE FIRST VARIATION OF THIS DESIGN HAD ONLY ONE "EMI" MARK PRINTED ON THE LABEL. THESE 'ONE BOX' LABELS WERE USED FOR A VERY SHORT TIME...PERHAPS A LITTLE OVER A YEAR. SOMETIME IN 1970 A SECOND LABEL VARIATION WAS INTRODUCED AND THE 'ONE BOX' LABELS WERE DISCONTINUED. THESE 1969 'ONE BOX' LPS WERE MANUFACTURED USING THE SAME STAMPERS AS ORIGINAL PRESSINGS, WERE PRESSED ON THE SAME HEAVY WEIGHT VINYL AND WERE HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL TRI-FLIPBACK FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVES

VINYL CONDITION

Visual:

SIDE ONE  EX+++ / Full LUSTER and SHINE! Barely any signs of play. Close and careful inspection directly under a bright light source reveals only a few wispy sleeve removal traces and 2/3 very light hairlines

SIDE TWO  NM /  Beautiful!! Looks practically new...only a few wispy sleeve removal traces are visible when held at an angle beneath a bright light source

Audio:

SIDE ONE   EX+ / despite a touch of light static/crackle during Eleanor Rigby and the odd very soft and natural low level static pop during silent bands and this sides most exposed passages there is little to fault with side one

SIDE TWO   NM / a few negligible very soft pops on this entire side with most during the silent band between songs. This sides most exposed track Here There And Everywhere plays perfectly

Labels:

SIDE ONE   NM / as new...no spindle traces or wear

SIDE TWO  EX+++ / no spindle traces evident. There is a white ring and indentations around the spindle hole, these appear to have occured during manufacturing

Sleeve:   EX+++ / Beautiful tri-flipback Garrod and Lofthouse front laminated sleeve. No major faults...front sleeve is super glossy and clean with only minor handling/shelfware..light corner wear. Rear sleeve is also in top condition. Flipbacks are white..no ringwear..seams and spine are near perfect. The only visible fault is a small 1/4 inch tear on the lower left flipback

Inner Sleeve:  Original inner sleeve is not present. Vinyl has been stored in a protective inner sleeve.

 All LP's are very carefully graded. I visually grade each record in daylight and directly under a very strong incandescent lamp. Then all discs are carefully play graded, at volume in their entirety, before each auction. Cartridge used: Shure V15VxMR @ 1.5 grams VTF

All records are shipped inside protective plastic covers. I use professional mailers and two protective stiffeners. When posting, I always separate records from their covers and original inner sleeves (if original inner is present) to prevent seam splits during shipping

I will combine shipping for multiple wins: Domestic, add $1.00 for each additional LP / International, add $1.00 for the second LP, email for shipping total when purchasing three or more items.
