Description
RARE BLACK / YELLOW LABEL
This pressing of Sgt Pepper was released around '68/'69 using the stock Parlophone labels available at that time (just after the release of Yellow Submarine on this label).What makes it RARE is the fact it should not have been on this label at all!
I don't know how many exist (this is only the second one I have seen in over 20 years!)
The labels are clean and the vinyl has a wonderful sheen to it.(there are scuffs on both sides and a couple of noticeable marks on side 1)
The 2 piece cover is laminated and there are no rips or tears.
The matrix numbers are YEX 637-1 , YEX 638-1 and they are machine stamped into the run out groove indicating the use of the UK stampers.
This record is in New Zealand and the postage will be $20 worldwide.
