'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1965 UK 5th PRESSING **MONO** LP
This excellent 1965 mono early 5th pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in front laminated, 'tri-flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse mono cover.
Complete with its original lined 'Use Emitex inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-2N
Stamper numbers: 10/RRP & 5/O

This copy has been well looked after as the surfaces remain bright and glossy with no 'groove whitening' from mishandling or overplay.
Inspection under a halogen desk lamp reveals just some light sleeve removal hairlines but no scuffs or scratches whatsoever.
Pressed on very thick and heavy vinyl which lies 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Bright, loud and clear sound without any trace of hint or crackle or groovewear distortion on any track.
Both run-ins and all bands play extremely quietly and there are no clicks, pops, hiss, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS
This later 'thin' card cover retains a bright front panel image with its high-gloss laminate bearing just a few light wrinkles but no major wear.
The corners display light storagewear but the opening edges are clean, sharpe and unworn without any tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is clean and white with a black line underneath a slightly damaged upper flipback but no yellowing or other discolouration.
The spine has a small stress but is clean and readable with no missing paper and the upper and lower seams are strong and unsplit.
