  On offer here, the first release of "Please Please Me" issued for the German domestic market.
It's the "descandant" of a publication from February 1964 (R/W/G Odeon ZTOX 5550, Feb 10, 1964), that had been sold exclusively at army stores to American and British soldiers in West-Berlin and Germany's western part and which is hence one of the rarest German records. You can find our offer for this rare 1st press here.

Due to copyright issues (Germany initially sold Please Please Me under an own title, "Die Tanzschaffe der weltberuehmten Vier aus Liverpool", February 1964, HoerZu HZE 117 -mono-, SHZE 117 -stereo-), this first domestic release with same title, cover, and track listing as the U.K. original, was published with a double matrix, compiled of the classic HoerZu "initials" (S)HZE as well as an Apple "descriptor". Second one was added in a line below within the dead wax. This applies to the second press only.

This copy comes in a MINT Viynl Quality. We're always careful in assuring this or this, however, record is clearly LOOKING UNPLAYED. Picture is rounded by an EXCELLENT/PLUS cover condition. If you make quality a number one preference, this record is the one to go with.

If available, audible checks were performed with an ORTOFON Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier,  using a Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after, which are legal part of this auction.
Spine is 100 percent readable.
The fully laminated cover is completely glossy, made of strong cardboard. Absolutely clean insertion slot, no cuts, or rips. No ringwear, and it doesn't yellow either. Small blank  spot on upper right on front, tiny dent on very bottom, centered, of back.  Upper left and lower left corner are slighlty scuffed (see photos). Cover's back has a name written on upper left, maybe the only "flaw". All in all EX+/EX.
Labels: Side A has a writing, Side B is absolutely clean. No writings, stains, tears, or spots. No spindle hole wear either!
Vinyl is shiny, both sides, no scratches, scuffs, hairlines, whatever - nothing. This record, quite obviously, has never been played. Verdict: MINT / LOOKING UNPLAYED.

Due to the vinyl's stunning condition, this record has not been graded audible.

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only. Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.

We are two (crazy?) regular average women (Ginger & Fleur Isabell) who love Beatles, thus collecting their records, we're no dealers.  We buy vinyl to acquire better copies of what we have already, then selling our second, third, fourth copies. We are classic collectors and hence describe and grade what we sell to our best knowledge, possessing a very high, sophisticated level of knowledge, in particular regarding European records.  

If -for whatever reason- our description doesn't turn out to be appropriate, like, for instance, a song skips or jumps, vinyl isn't flat as assured  -these types of "error"-, we certainly accept a return (at buyer's expense), for a collector's satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. That certainly happened  already. We know that nobody buys a record from us "just for fun". However, as a very basic rule, all of our sales are personal und final.

ALL WE TRY TO AVOID IS TO SEND RARE, VALUABLE VINYL AROUND THE GLOBE "IN VAIN", JUST TO SATISFY A PERSON'S CURIOSITY, FOR EVERY "ROUND-TRIP" IS A HUGE RISK EXPOSING THE RECORD.
