Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Paul McCartney & Wings-"Band On The Run" LP, Columbia JC36482, released in 1980. This is still sealed. Vinyl is presumed Mint. Cover is NM. There are a couple of small pieces of shrink missing at the top and bottom left corners. There is a little wear to those corners. There is also a 4" split to the shrink at the LP opening. This version has Paul's MPL company logo on the front cover, in the bottom left corner, making this is one of his rarest Columbia pressings. This particular pressing is very hard to find, especially sealed. Classic Paul, almost like new, in a rare format.
