THE BEATLES - 'MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR'
This superb UK 1st MONO pressing of their 2-EP set dates from its initial December 1967 release.
Both discs bear black & silver Parlophone labels - MMT 1 - with the 'Sold in UK.. text and 'Gramophone Co..' rims on each.
The 'KT' purchase tax codes in the centre of side 1 and 4.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18435-1/4-1 & 7XCE 18436-1/7-2
Stamper codes: 6/GR, 3/LD & 2/L, 3/GM
Both disc are house within their original wavy-top plain white inner-sleeves which are in turn house inside a 24-page colour 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed booklet with outer laminated covers.

All Labels: NEAR MINT
A superb set with just two light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole but none on any other.
Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT + Disc 2: NEAR MINT
All playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. The only visible mark in strong daylight on the entire set is light 1cm scuff on side 2 of disc 1. Disc 2 is completely unmarked. Close examination of both discs beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just some harmless wispy paper hairlines but no further blemishes or wear.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Both discs have clearly been barely, if ever played. Every tracks sounds clean & clear and my single careful play-check at volume detected no trace of any groove/playwear distortion. There is no background interference to 'Fool On the Hill' or elsewhere and no clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions throughout this superb sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A vivid & vibrant example this colourful booklet retains unworn & undamaged pages. There are a handful of age-spots on page 17 but no rust or wear to any of the centre staples. The outer covers are clean & unworn and retain an unworn, unscratched high-gloss laminate finish. There is a little shelfwear bruising to the corners but little else of any significance.
Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT +
Clean & white with just some wrinkling from storage but no writing, tears or seam splits.
