Description
BEATLES COLLECTORS' ALERT! A rarely available Made in Greece version of the classic record. This record has been stored securely since purchase by the original owner and is offered in exceptional condition, as follows:
a. the hard-cover picture sleeve and 24-page coloured insert booklet are in excellent condition with no cuts, marks, etc. The sleeve was actually the one Made in Great Brittain (MMT-1 Mono) but shipped to Greece for local distribution. The date listed is 1967
b. the 2 singles are in mint condition with no scratches, marks, etc. The records have been kept in cream-coloured Parlophone/EMI inner sleeves and have a purple centre. Their numbers are GMSP123 and GMSP124 respectively (indicating country of origin). Each record has Made In Greece mark, and the inner sleeves have "made and printed in Greece".
As Greece had in the 60s a small market for records, it is possible that only a limited number of this EP was printed. It is unlikely that such version of the EP and in such expectional condition will appear in auction any time soon!
