Offered here is the lp that started BEATLEMANIA in America, MEET THE BEATLES Capitol ST 2047 released January 20 1964. This variation is the true first west coast STEREO pressing with the 1 BMI credited to the song I Want To Hold Your Hand only and the rest of the songs credited to ASCAP. The album grades at best VG to VG- with hairline scratches on side 1 and a long scratch on side 2 that you can feel (checkout photos) both labels grade at best VG+ maybe better. The cover grades at a very strong VG++ maybe better with some spotting on the back, the front slick is very glossy and BEATLES is a purplish color,there is some cracking that’s starting to form at the bottom seam, no George Martin credit on the back and the # 6 is by the RIAA print ( checkout photos) and comes with it’s original royal blue inner sleeve as well.
