SCARCE UK FIRST ISSUE **MONO**, SUPERB NEAR MINT VINYL DISCS, TOTALLY COMPLETE WITH IMPRESSIVE LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE, 24 PAGE BOOKLET, AND ORIGINAL WAVY TOP INNER BAGS

Summary:

This is an EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE and COMPLETE Example of The Beatles EP ‘Magical Mystery Tour’, released by Parlophone UK 42 years ago. The Two Vinyl EPs are in GLEAMING, near mint condition, and the Gatefold Sleeve is a very SUPERB, CLEAN, FIRM example.

EP Description:

The Original FIRST ISSUE Six Track TWO Vinyl EP Set was released by PARLOPHONE UK in 1967. This is the **MONO** Version on the traditional Black & Silver Parlophone Label, with 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' label rim, 'Sold in UK….' Label text, and 'Made in Gt. Britain' printed to all four record labels.

The SIX tracks are: Side 1: ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ and ‘Your Mother Should Know’. Side 2: ‘I Am The Walrus’. Side 3: ‘The Fool on The Hill’ and ‘Flying’, and Side 4: ‘Blue Jay Way’.

Both Vinyl EPs come in their Original FIRST ISSUE white WAVY TOP paper record bags.

…And are protected in an Original FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve, incorporating a 24 page booklet together with a BLUE Lyric Sheet. Printed to the top of the reverse of the sleeve is 'MONO' together with the catalogue number MMT-1.

Side 1 matrix: 7XCE 18435-1, Side 2: 7XCE 18434-1, Side 3: 7XCE 18436-1 and Side 4: 7XCE 18437-2.
Side 1 stampers: KT3/PL, Side 2: KT13/GMR, Side 3: KT7/PM and Side 4: KT4/AH.

There is a stamped 'KT' tax code visible to the centre of the Disc 1 Side 2 and Disc 2 Side 3 record labels.

Audio Quality:

Both Discs sound as GOOD AS THEY LOOK, playing SUPERBLY through all SIX tracks, with NO skips, clicks, distortion or background crackle – A very enjoyable listening experience..

EP Condition:

All FOUR Record Labels are in excellent plus condition. A BRIGHT Set of record labels, with no more than a few faint centre spider trails, and a couple of faint blemishes which do NOT affect the CLEAR, BOLD Printed Silver text.

All four sides of the TWO Vinyl discs are in SUPERB near mint condition, GLISTENING, FRESH, WELL CARED FOR, UNWORN vinyl surfaces, showing nothing more than a couple of light surface hairlines to both records.

Both Original First Issue WAVY TOP White Paper Inner bags are in FINE excellent condition, NO seam splits, tearing or handwriting and only mild inevitable creasing.

The Fully Laminated First Issue Garrod & Lofthouse GATEFOLD sleeve is a very CLEAN, UNDAMAGED example in excellent plus condition. This is a very FIRM, DEEP GLOSSY Sleeve with NO signs of record indentation. The spine edge is FIRM and STRONG with some rubbing/laminate lifting to the left hand spine edge including the bottom left corner. All the pages within the 24 page booklet within the gatefold sleeve are CLEAN, FLAT and UNDAMAGED with NO tearing, handwriting or loose pages.

Without hesitation, an all round HIGHLY IMPRESIVE and COMPLETE Example of this Original UK First Issue. The TWO Vinyl Discs are in particularly DESIRABLE condition.
