Hello to everyone in the mad world of ebay!
Over the next few weeks we will be auctioning off a number of very nice items to hep fund our Football Club. The items range from rare records to some pottery.
Every penny that we raise will go to supporting the future of Foxhall Juniors
The Second item we have for sale is:
Beatles let it Be Box Set Orginal Release purchased back in the 1960's. PSX 1
Apparently very rare orginal box set
This is an original copy that is fully complete with all its parts from new
The box set consists of an outer cover, inner book holder, book and record which are all in wonderful condition.
The parent that has donated this lovely item has said that he purchased on its release day and was only played a few times, he has also stated that the book was never read until a few weeks ago.
I have taken the box set to a locale record store and they have graded as follows:
Outer Sleeve - Excellent + - Slight wear on the corners caused by careful storage over the ladt 40+ years.
Record (Sleeve)- Beautiful condition (Near Mint) only very light storage wear on the corners
Record - Near Mint - Beatiful condition - Plays with no noise what so ever- (played very little from new)

Inner holder & sleeve - 100% orginal and in Excellent condition - Only showing a bit of storage wear only
Book - As new - MINT
The guy in the record shop has told me that all the parts are original and haven't been replaced.
The record plays with a crisp clear sound with no pops, skips or jumps the run in and out are completely quiet and there is no unwanted noise anywhere. It truely is an amazing piece.
