CONDITION

Outer Slipcase

EXCELLENT

An extremely respectable example which has been well looked-after and remains clean, strong and in-shape. Naturally, there is some minor storagewear rubbing to the laminate and a light crease towards the lower edge of the front panel but all edges are sharp and clean with just a few flecks of missing paper but no tears to any.

Trays

Outer: EXCELLENT

Often the most damaged and worn piece, this example is in remarkably fine shape. Each side is clean, square and unsquashed with no rubbing to any of the exposed edges. The fold-over flaps are both clean & retain sharp and unworn edges.

Inner: EXCELLENT

This extremely fragile and delicate component is completely intact & in-shape. There are inevitable tiny stresses to the corners where the book sat but no tears to any of them. All of the inner panels are totally undamaged and there are no tears to the thin fold-over edges.

Book

EXCELLENT +

A beautiful & fully intact copy with perfectly clean, glossy & unworn front & rear covers. The spine un-cracked and totally undamaged along its whole length and inside is 'as new' with all pages are present & none loose, damaged or missing.

LP Record

Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a red Apple logo on the reverse.

Complete with original crisp white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U

Stamper numbers: 1,7/AO & 2,1/MM

Disc weight: 136g

LP CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A few light spindle trails but no other signs of wear.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both surfaces are extremely clean & glossy with the only blemishes visible in strong daylight being a tiny pinhead sized mark on track 2, side 2 and a light blemish in the side 1 run-out. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy hairlines from inner-sleeve removal & a sparkling rainbow gloss shine.

Play: EXCELLENT

This disc has been barely played and is without any significant or major traces of audible wear on or between any track.

LP Cover

EXCELLENT +

A really fine example with perfectly clean & glossy panels which bear just the unavoidable faint disc impression but apart from that, there is little else to fault.  Both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and completely undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & white with just a minor storage wrinkle to one corner but no writing, tears or splits.

  • Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
