1970 UK BOX SET (PXS 1)
**100% COMPLETE incl. APPLE PROMO POSTER**
This rare UK box set designed by John Kosh is 100% complete with: outer slip-case, two inner trays, -2U/-2U matrices LP, softback book & an Apple Records promotional poster.
This is a totally genuine & 'un-restored' example. No black ink or adhesive substance has been applied to any component.
The following 18 pictures speak for themselves.
Outer Slipcase: EXCELLENT PLUS
A very impressive strong, square & fully intact example retains its high-gloss laminate on both sides with no 'thumbnails', tears or any other significant wear.
The rear panel has just a small scratch (visible above) and there are few tiny 'pushes' to the opening edges but no tears or feathering to any.
The upper edge is perfect with just a tiny 1cm piece of laminate lift to the lower edge, but no other wear whatsoever on this well looked.after example.
A very difficult example to upgrade.
Outer: EXCELLENT PLUS
This very clean & strong example retains its full shape and is totally uncrushed. There is just some minor rubs to the corners but no wear to the exposed edges.
The fold-over flaps display a hint of wear from insertion & removal from the slipcase, but there are no tears or significant wear to either.
The rear is clean & black with no fingermarks, creasing or any other damage or wear
Inner: EXCELLENT PLUS
This, the most fragile component, is completely intact & in-shape. You can just see tiny stresses to the corners where the book sits, but no other signs of wear whatsoever.
All the outer flaps are fully intact with no tears to any of them.
Book: EXCELLENT PLUS
A superb copy with fine high-gloss covers which beasr just a single, small 'thumbnail' crease on the rear towards the opening edge, but no other significant or major or wear.
All pages are present, undamaged and in 'as new' condition and none are loose or missing.
The spine is in perfect unbent & unworn shape and shows no signs of ever having been opened.
LP
This MINT/UNPLAYED disc is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7096
Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the RED Apple logo on the reverse.
Comlete with original crisp white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U
Stamper numbers: 1,6/GRA & 5/GGT
Disc weight: 138g

NO spindle marks or any wear to either label.
Visual: MINT
Pristine 'as new' surfaces which are completely unmarked in strong daylight AND directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Both side of this immaculate disc lie 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: MINT
Apart from my careful play-check, this disc is UNPLAYED and in perfect audio condition throughout.
Cover: NEAR MINT
Clean & glossy example with appears 'as new' throughout with no creasing and perfect, undamaged corners & opening edges.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Poster: MINT
Factory folded & in perfect condition.
