Beatles LP Rubber Soul Record Club Green in Shrink NM
Vinyl--- Stellar NM. Looks absolutely unplayed, both sides.
Plates--- A1/A1. Record club issues are so desirable, because they were pressed from the same master tapes which were used to manufacture 8-track tapes. Therefore, not only do they have alternate versions and mixes in many cases, they also have fresh plates. These record club pressings were the first and only time that fresh plates were made from the 8-track master tapes to be pressed into vinyl.
Cover--- Beautiful. The snow white borders and back cover have remained 95% in new condition. The shrink wrap has a few small areas of dirt, but they are few and far between. There are only two spots of damage to the cover. 1. At the bottom center of the front cover, there is a shard of shrink wrap missing, pointing upward to John. A tiny space of dirt has settled there. 2. The top right corner has a push, where a very small area of slick has come off. But apart from those, this is a new-looking album cover.
Any serious collector who has had experience with record club covers knows that they are made of inferior cardboard. The seams split easily, and the covers attract dirt like a beagle in the back yard. This is one of the most well-preserved record club covers I’ve ever seen.
Labels--- NM labels. Not the slightest beginnings of wear or spindle marks.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white sleeve as issued.

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl. However, I am happy to by request. As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.
