THE BEATLES - Please Please Me (RARE Australian mono pressing on the black/yellow Parlophone label in New Zealand cover - PMCO/PMCM1202)
This is the Australian mono release of "Please Please Me" on the black/yellow Parlophone label, which was used for pressings between 1964-1968. This copy was purchased in the late 1960s by the original owner at the HMV store on Queen Street in Auckland, New Zealand. The NZ cover with the original shop sticker on the back contained an original Australian pressing though... Why? Well, your guess is as good as mine...
In addition to that, there is a UK EMi sticker on the back cover...
condition:
record: VG (a number of superficial marks, scuffs and hairlines and a couple of scratches, but nothing serious, some clicks on "Love Me Do", some crackling, no skips or jumps, clean labels with minor spindle wear)
cover: EX- (minor wear and tear, a few stains on the back cover, overall a fine copy!)
