GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL, this early USA Beatles album entitled ‘Introducing The Beatles' was released by Vee-Jay Records in 1964 on the Black/Colorband Veejay label with BRACKETED VJ Records Logo.
This is Label Version VJ 1062(2).MR2D(ii) as featured on page 140 of The Beatles Records on Vee-Jay by Bruce Spizer, with left justified song titles and indented credits with ‘INTRODUCING THE BEATLES’, ‘MICROGROOVE’ and ‘LONG PLAYING’ (two words) on the label. The trail off areas to this record has hand etched matrix numbers and the initial ‘URJ’ and ‘ARC’, along with MACHINE STAMPED AUDIO MATRIX LOGO .
The album comes in a plain white bag and is protected in its ORIGINAL heavy duty Picture Sleeve with song titles printed on the reverse, listed in the same order as the record label.
The record labels are excellent, showing some light spider trails. Side 1 of the disc is in very good plus condition with some non-sounding surface scratches. Side 2 is in very good condition, with some surface scratches that produce some light clicks throughout Do You Want to Know A Secret, A Taste of Honey, and Twist and Shout. The heavy duty picture sleeve is in very good condition, no hand writing, The sleeve shows wear to the edges and age handling signs to the pasted over slick on the reverse. The spine is undamaged apart from small bumps to the two corners and the wording Introducing The Beatles and Vee-Jay clear legible.
