THE BEATLES - 'I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND'/'THIS BOY'
1968 UK *2nd PRESSING* 45
This is the rarest UK pressing of this 45. It dates from 1968 and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5084
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' statement and retain their 'Parlophone Co...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is present in both run-outs only.
It is housed in its original green 'swirl' Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17559-1N & 7XCE 17560-1N

Labels: 1. EXCELLENT - 2. EXCELLENT
Both labels are overall bright and undamaged. As you can see, there is some writing in the centre of the side 1 label and minor hole/spindlewear to the centre hole of the side 2 label.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The vinyl however, is flawless. Both surfaces are extremely clean, bright & glossy with no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath halogen light reveal only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no other marks or wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping. Tough to find in any condition.
Play: EXCELLENT +
Super-quiet run-ins & clean, unworn grooves and the absence of any significant background noise to each side confirm that this copy has received just some a few careful plays on top-quality equipment. Listen top a clip on th epayer below.
