1964 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**SUPERB COPY**
This rare 1964 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & pale yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
This is a very early press with the 'chubby' style label font.
A 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'mid-sized' stereo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper numbers: 2/AP & 1/RA

Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine & perfect surfaces with a deep gloss shines with no dull patches, groove-whitening, scuffs or scratches to either side in strong daylight.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few faint inner-sleeve removal marks but no other visiual wear whatsoever.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
Carefully played just a few times, the entire album sounds amazing and plays without any trace of any background noise or major audible wear.
Listening at volume, I detected just an hint of wear in the right channel on 'And I Love Her', but this, in my opinion, does not spoil the enjoyment.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or any other audible wear anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
A fine, clean & strong example with a vibrant front panel which bears just a few tiny edge wrinkles, but no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing or wear.
Apart from a small bruise to the lower right corner, all are clean & square. Both opening egdes show minimal wear with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean and bright white with no discolouration, marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, seams & the spine are in perfect condition.
Both discs have been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
