A Hard Days Night - The Beatles UK - First Pressing - 1964 Narrow Label Font Stereo
MATRIX Side 1) YEX 126-1 AL 3 Side 2) YEX 127-1 RR 2
Cover: EX+ The cover is clean and in superb condition. The Laminate is completely intact with no cracks, peeling, or seam splits. A small shelf wear scuff is noted at the bottom seam. At the LP insert opening, there is a crease at the upper corner and a small bump with some minor feathering at the bottom. The fold-over flaps at the rear are perfect. There is a tiny nick at the spine center, which remains perfectly straight and its text is clearly legible. No writing or tears.
Vinyl: NM The record is clean and glossy. There are a few light inaudible surface scuffs on both sides. No scratches.
Labels: NM The labels are clean with multiple soft spindle marks. The 'KT' tax code is stamped on Side 2.
The label text here is a 'narrow font'. There is also a label text variant with 'wide font'. The difference is that on this label, the text: Songs from the film "A Hard Day’s Night”, which only appears on Side 1, doesn’t take up as much width across the label as other yellow Parlophone 'wide font' versions.
In addition, this variant has a period (.) after 'PCS' on Side 2, but NOT on Side 1. Other pressings all either have a period on BOTH sides or none at all. This variant has yet to be cataloged on the Discogs data website.
Original Poly Inner: NM Still beautiful with barely any sign of aging. No seam splits.
