1964 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING* LP
This immaculate, barely played 1964 UK 1st MONO is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 2 centre hole.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse ' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper codes: 4/GDH & 7/GGR

So rare to find these labels in such pristine condition and with just two faint spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both playing surfaces appear at first glance to be 'as new' and retain all of their just-pressed deep-gloss shines. The only blemish in daylight is a faint inner-sleeve removal mark but apart form that, both are pristine. Close and careful inspection directly beneath halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines. A very tough copy to upgrade.
Play: EXCELLENT +
Clearly, this copy has received less than a handful of extremely careful plays and there are certainly no major audible faults throughout. The sound throughout my careful play check was warm and strong with just a hint of wear on the two innermost track on each side. However, there are certainly no clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction anywhere on this very fine disc.

EXCELLENT +
A really top-class example which has been carefully and correctly stored in non-smoking conditions for the past 40 years and is virtually unworn throughout. The front panel pristine with a totally unworn and undamaged high-gloss laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing or even spine bends. There is some minor rubbing to the left corners and a few small 'pushes' to the opening edges but aside form these minor blemishes, this really could have been bought yesterday. The rear panel is snow-white with no traces of any marks or wear whatsoever with all flipbacks are perfectly clean & undamaged. Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is fully worded and in perfect condition.

Clean & crisp with minor age-toning but no writing or seam splits.
