Description

Beatles 2nd State Butcher cover, Capitol T-2553.  YESTERDAY AND TODAY.   Record is visually graded VG+/VG++ and label is clean. (numerous sleeve marks on playing field, but all are so light, you have to turn the record into the light to see them.  None of them affect the play at all.  Still nice and shiny surface.  The cover is VG++++++/NM. No seam splits or edge wear of any kind, no fraying, no stickers, no writing, no taping ---does have the faintest of record outline, and a tiny bottom right corner ding,  and that is why I haven't graded it NM.  Has the original inner sleeve.  All the background white is nice and clean with very little dirt or smudging. Has the number "3" in back, left of the logo in the bottom right corner - indicating Scranton, PA - the factory (the rarest of the three)  where it was made. The paste-over cover does not cover the upper right corner where it says "File under: The Beatles" and "T-2553".

This cover is the rarest I have seen or heard about.  Here is why:::

Ringo's V-neck can be seen very, very clearly. In fact, if you look closely at the actual cover, you can make out Ringo's head, his hairline and part of his face, not just his v-neck. You can also see the smock over his black pant legs.  AND you can make out portions of John on the left side, especially his black hair directly above the knee on the paste-over cover.

NO PAYPAL, NO CHECKOUT.  I will notify winner after auction.  $4 US postage/$8 Int'l.  Insurance is extra.
