Description
Here it is...one of the most famous albums in Rock & Roll history: an original, unpeeled first pressing of the Beatles LP, "Yesterday and Today". This is what's commonly called a "second state" Butcher Cover, which was pasted over with the standard Trunk Cover. This is a Stereo copy, ST 2553, and has the Capitol pressing plant designation of "2", which means it was pressed in Scranton, PA.
Vinyl is EX, very glossy and only has a couple very light hairline marks.
Jacket is VG+, has spine wear/splitting and a 3-inch bottom seam split (see pics). Cover does have a slight amount of ring wear, bottom corners are worn and the bottom right corner has yellowed on the front and back. At the top of the pasted on slick, it does appear that someone may have tried to remove it, as the left corner has a small tear and the right corner has come unglued just a little bit. These are extremely small issues, however. Please look closely at the pictures to see Ringo's famous black turtleneck showing through the white slick... The original inner sleeve will also be included.
Deadwax information:
Side 1: ST1-2553-B6 #2 (Scranton plant "IAM" logo is present)
Side 2: ST2-2553-A5 (Scranton plant "IAM" logo is present)
