Description
Here's the real deal. 2nd State Butcher. You can easily (hope my pics allow you here) see Ringo's sweater 'V'. COVER grade: I'm going to call this one VG- as the spine is split, bottom seam record slot corner with two-inch split, some light stain on front, overall shelf wear and mellowing. RIAA 3 on back. It still displays nicely and is certainly better to me than a G or G+ grade. Just not quite a VG. VINYL Grade: This is simply a VG grade, with much lighter scuffing, swirls, etc with some rougher handling in its early years but nothing deep or yikes for any scratches. Play grade is nice at a VG+ clip. These old Capitols can really hold up and sound great even with some careless handling. Playing it on my vintage Pioneer with Pickering V15 with D AME 3 Stylus. Some light noise in quiet passages but music is strong, bright. DEADWAX: Side One T-1-2553-F7 #2 IAM (IN TRIANGLE) Side Two T-2553-G8 IAM (IN TRIANGLE). I've been to Discogs and tried to nail this exact pressing down, but the combination or lack of combination of the two sides has proved to be a fruitless search for me! There are lot's of variants for sure, but I just couldn't find these together. So there you go. Bid like you mean it. ;-) This will be shipped safely in an oversize and heavily protected package.
